Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Who are these clinical supervision groups for?
Pre-licensed therapists, associates working toward LPC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure, and fully licensed clinicians who want ongoing consultation. Whether you specialize in couples therapy, complex trauma, or infant and child work — there's a group for you.
Do I need to be licensed to join?
No. Pre-licensed clinicians, associates working toward licensure, and fully licensed therapists are all welcome. Each group is designed to meet you where you are in your career.
How do the groups meet?
Groups meet virtually twice a month via Zoom. You also get access to a private WhatsApp community for between-session support, resource sharing, and connection with your cohort.
Can these hours count toward licensure in Wisconsin or my state?
Group consultation often counts toward licensure hours, but the rules vary by state and license type. In Wisconsin, the DSPS allows a portion of supervised hours through approved group consultation. Check with your state board and your individual supervisor to confirm what qualifies.
Is this clinical supervision or consultation?
We run modality-informed consultation groups led by experienced licensed clinicians. For pre-licensed therapists who need formal supervision tied to licensure, our groups work alongside your assigned individual supervisor — not as a replacement.
Do you offer help with the business side of private practice?
Yes — The Reluctant Marketer is built for therapists who need to grow a private practice but hate the marketing part. Real strategy, accountability, no cringe.
What's the commitment?
Groups run on a monthly subscription at $95/month. There's no long-term contract — you can cancel anytime. We do ask for consistent attendance so the group can build trust and depth over time.
What if I'm not sure which group is right for me?
That's totally normal. Each group page has detailed information about the focus, format, and facilitator. You can also reach out through our application form and we'll help you figure out the best fit.
